About iArts (Integrated Arts)
About iArts (Integrated Arts)
The BA in iArts is a level 2 entry program providing interdisciplinary skills in art, performance, histories of the arts, theory and research, and is grounded in social justice. There are two level 1 courses that are required for entry into the BA.
The iArts BA is a Level II entry program that emphasizes interdisciplinary creative practice as a collective mode of learning, preparing students for professional careers in the arts. You will have the opportunity to engage with a range of hands-on media and techniques in art and performance, while also learning about the histories and critical contexts of art and performance locally, nationally and internationally.
With a focus on student-directed learning, the BA allows you to pursue your own interests and develop skill sets to support your personal, artistic expression. You will also have many opportunities to work collaboratively and expand beyond traditional arts practice to engage with one another and with the University and community at large.
We also offer a BFA in iArts (Integrated Arts) which is a direct entry program.
- iArts is a unique integrated arts degree that invites students to direct their path including: acting, painting/drawing, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, devising plays, researching cultural and critical histories, creating videos and more.

- iArts believes in environmentally-responsible studio practices and is the only program in Canada to declare a commitment to this initiative.
